Exercise Stress Test

Exercise Stress Test

ECG d’effort / Épreuve d’effort in English is “Exercise Stress Test” or more precisely “Exercise ECG (Treadmill Stress Test)”.

👉 It’s a cardiac diagnostic test where your heart activity (ECG) is recorded while you walk or run on a treadmill (or pedal on a stationary bike). It helps evaluate how the heart responds to physical exertion.

Main uses:

  • Detecting coronary artery disease (blockages in heart arteries)
  • Assessing chest pain or shortness of breath during effort
  • Evaluating exercise tolerance and heart function
  • Monitoring patients after cardiac treatment or surgery

Would you like me to prepare a full English explanatory text (like I did for Whole-Body MRI, Polysomnography, Calcium Score, etc.) so it matches the style of your clinic pages?
